I'm unsure if this is the correct place to post this but as it concerns my son who is 9years old i thought i would post it in here.
As mentioned, i have a 9 year old son. He has very prominent ears that stick out quite badly. Whilst he doesn't seem to be bothered by them and to my knowledge isn't being teased at school, i would like as much information as possible on Otoplasty surgery. Just incase the day ever comes where he would like to have them 'pinned back' so i can be ready to help him. So if anyone can help me i would love any information you could pass along please. -how old was your child at the time of surgery? -was it something they requested getting done? -how long was the waiting period after the initial consult? -how long was recovery? -what were the costs involved? -how is the end result? -is your child happier now? -would you go through it all again? Thank you! |

Hi, I had my ears pinned back when I was 12 (I am now 36), I am so glad my parents booked me in to have it done. My ears were quite bad, they stuck out in different directions and one was slightly folded. My parents and I were very happy with the results
