Hi all,

so I've done all my Christmas shopping apart from my dh's gift. He is so difficult to buy for! If he wants something he usually just goes and gets it himself. He enjoys astro-photography, likes trains, cricket and bushwalking. He doesn't need any more clothes and isn't much of a drinker.

I'd like to get him something thoughtful, but $100 or under. Looking forward to any suggestions wink.gif .

A rain gauge. I got my husband one a few years ago and he LOVES it. He has it situated near his car parking space and he checks it religiously every day, and records the reading. He's up to his 3rd year now so he can compare rainfall patterns.

I said I wouldn't get my DH (d does not stand for dear) a present for Christmas as I haven't received any presents from him in 8 years.

I've caved in and bought him the Arnold Schwarzenegger autobiography and a remote controlled boat. I really bought the boat for the whole family to enjoy. The caravan park we go to at Christmas time has the perfect creek to use it on biggrin.gif

my hubby has expensive tastes but luckily he doesnt like to shop for clothings. last few years i got him bonds undies. but this year, he will get trackie pants, cheapy crocs and a CD. that's pretty much what he wants. he likes surprises like a tshirt with our baby pic (for his father's day thing) or i gave him a voucher for massage for me.

I also organised a lunch with his friends without me. so like a boy day out thing.

We normally only exchange token gifts at Christmas. It's his birthday in December though and I'm getting him a really good camping chair. Not sure what to get him from the kids - possibly a book or something.

Great ideas- alas he already has both.

The kids bike seat sounds great though!
