Hi all, just a quick question about baby's catnapping...
When I only have DD2, I spent a lot of effort and time to resettle bub during the day when she started catnapping around 2 months and she then became good around 5 months old ( not sure if my persistance made the difference or she just grew out of it ). With DD3 starting catnapping now ( she's 5 weeks old ), and I don't have the time/patience to do that anymore ( very hard with DD2 needing my attention as well ), I was wondering when will she be growing out of that?
I'm sure I am not the only one as I just don't have time to do anything with DD2 through out the day when all DD3 does is to fight sleep... I tried wearing her, rocking her, patting her, shhhing her, none of those work. She doesn't like to be in the pram nor the car either. With DD2, I can at least get her to sleep on my chest, but DD3 will just arch her back whenever I tried to pick her up...

Just go with it. I was so much happier when I stopped trying to resettle. I'd just get DD up after that 45mins, feed, play and then sleep again when she showed tired signs. She was much happier, and I was too. She started having 1hr sleeps consistently about 3-4months, and now at almost 6 months is giving me more consistent 2 hour sleeps in the morning (3 or 4 days a week.) Just go with the flow. Hard when they're not happy after waking, but just put her down more frequently maybe.
