should l get my DS checked for other allergies. he has fructose, cannot handle the wheat or the gluten so he on a gluten free diet there was a conern he not putting on enough weight as he has toliet issues when he eats the fructose he does not get that feeling to go to the toliet but when on the fructose and gluten free diet he is ok

would you get the allergery testing done???????? or just wait ?? it took me 3 long years to work out he had a fructose problem as one weekend l just put him on the gluten free diet he got that feeling to go to the toliet now if he has accidents l know he should not have had that food item

it doesn't sound like allergies to me- as you can't have an allergy to sugar! more like an intolerance. If he eats everything else then there is no need to allergy teat. They can't allergy test to fructose or gluten only the actual fruit or wheat that causes IgE mediated allergic reactions
