My son is only 2 so I'm to get to this stage, I don't think I would buy for all of them though, there's already enough in the family! Maybe you could suggest to her they do their own little Secret Santa, that way you only have 1 pressie to buy.

Yes I do - Just 3 of them though. They are our neighbours as well as being at school with DS and the friendship has been on going for a number of years.

No, just christmas cards. Perhaps she could make presents for her friends - crafty or food things perhaps like friendship bracelets or cookies?

No, just cards and a candy cane or santa chocolate.

Although DD#1 (in High school) does usually buy her close friends little gifts. They don't cost much though. The first time she did extra gifts for close friends she was in Year 6 and said but I wont see a few of them much when we go to different schools next year. She still has one of those little light up santas you can get cheap that one friend gave her that year.

Since then the close friends do little gifts for each other. They usually do those tiny little gift bags and put things like chocolates, candy canes, cute little tree ornaments or anything else christmasy.

Most of my friends and I have agreed not to do Christmas gifts. We only buy for 4 extra children - my godson and his sister, and my BFF's children who are practically family (we've been friends for over 30 years!)

No way, it's expensive enough buying for our own children.

Christmas cards are handed around school, with chocolate or candy cane enclosed.
