Not quite a bad habit, but I've had hypnosis to treat my IBS. Basically to reprogram my habitual negative thoughts & reactions with more positive ones, so I could stop making the pain/nausea worse with that extra level of anxiety. I imagine it would work similarly for bad habits.
It was quite a long term process for me, but very beneficial, and not just in that aspect of my life. I saw a psychologist - my GP referred me on a mental health plan, so I got six (I think?) sessions covered by Medicare.
This was at St John Of God Subi, so not SOR.
