Already have a Meridian AHR Tilt & Adjust for my DS2.5 years old - love this seat, love the way you just push the button in & it adjusts so easily. baby 2 due in March but I'm not sure what to do, do I keep DS in this seat and just buy another one for the new Baby ? Or do I buy a new seat for DS and move baby to DS's Meridian ?

Im just not sure how long DS will last in the current seat so hence my query really ?

I also had my first DS in a Meridian and loved it. When DS2 was born he went into a capsule and I have just purchased a new seat now he is 10 months. I ended up buying a SnS compaq for DS1 who is 2 yeas 8 months and have put DS2 in the Meridian. The new Compaq has much higher shoulder markers than the Meridian so should last him longer, he is above average height and he still has heaps of room to go so I think it will last a lot longer than until 4 years old.

I also had this situation and the same seat as you. I ended up getting the next seat up, I think it was a maxi-rider?? for DS1. I'm so glad I did this. It will last him until he is quite big and is easy to adjust and seems comfortable - he still can't stay awake in the car. DS2 is still in the meridian and very happy in there. Saves buying a capsule and then another seat when they outgrow it.

Now, what to do if we go down the path of number three...

Same. First was in sns tilt and adjust and had second in a capsule. When #2 outgrew the capsult I moved her into sns tilt and adjust and moved #1 into sns maxi rider easy adjust which will last him until about 8.

I currently have my 2.5 yr ds in the tilt n adjust and plan to keep him in that til bub (due feb) is out of the capsule I bought. Then we will get a new car seat for ds, and bub can move into the tilt n adjust

New SNs Compaq or New Maxi Rider T&A.

I would not go the standard maxi rider as resin ally I found it too upright for my kids at 2.5 yrs of age.

I have my 5.5 yo who is 114cm and 19kgs in the new compaq. His 117cm brother is still under the height markers too.

New Maxi Rider Easy Adjust - it has the highest height markers for use of the in-built harness and then it will convert into a booster that looks pretty easy to use and is almost as high as the tall SnS Hi Liner booster.

So the Maxi Rider Easy Adjust is similar to the Meridian Tilt & adjust in the way you can adjust the straps and head rest easily ?

Yes it is. It is also much slimmer then the old maxi rider. The seatbelt path for booster mode is much improved making it easier to use in booster mode too.
