Every single day is a gift
Even surrounded by many family and friends?

So many times lately I feel so alone, even though I know I'm not. I have a great family whom I love with every beat of my heart, so many friends, who are more than just acquaintances, but I still feel so alone.

Do you ever feel like this? I'd so like to know I'm not the only one.

What the heck is normal anyway I say??

I have felt like this before and felt kind of weird/guilty because I had support etc close by. But sometimes components of your life just cant be understood by people even when they are close.

I guess for me I felt alone because of that, people not understanding/experiencing what I was in some components of my life.

Sorry if that was just a babble.

Yeah, sometimes, and it usually means I need to pay more attention to my mental health. Sometimes getting enough sleep, regular exercise and good food fixes it, sometimes I need therapy/drugs. So...if it goes on for more than a few weeks, and you feel kind of teary or worthless or hopeless, go tell your doctor about it.

Other than that, bbighug.gif

TBH OP I only feel like that when I am stressed and something is getting me down.

Most times these days I do live in the moment and am able to enjoy the happiness and joy that comes my way.

I hope you are ok op, have you ever thought of maybe talking to someone close to you about this or maybe even talking to a counsellor. I am not saying that to be mean or anything but just I have been there before and it is not a happy place to be.

xoxo

I've felt like that before, but it was when I was suffering from depression. When it's under control I don't feel like it at all. Not saying that's the case for you, but just another perspective

Wow I didn't even consider depression, so maybe, if it keeps up, a trip to the Dr might be in order.

I am glad I'm not the only one to feel this way. I hate it so much sad.gif

Yes countrymel, grief is so personal and isolating, isn't it.

Yes it can be normal to feel that way, OP. Sometimes it can be a sign of something more sinister.
