Obviously with none of us being perfect, we've all had incidents with friends ranging from minor annoyances to huge betrayals of trust.

If a friend does something inconsiderate, when do you let things go and when do you talk to them? How do you go about confronting them?

Minor things, let it go.

Same thing over and over again, at some point you have to say something.

Major betrayal of trust, well, I'm lucky, that hasn't happened. YET.

Also keep in mind that while you can't control the behaviour of others, you can control your own. Sometimes it's just easier to change something you are doing so that the same situation is avoided.

Minor issues I ignore and might avoid them for a small amount of time.
Issues that continue I will avoid them and possibly step back a notch on the friendship.
Massive issues and betrayals I'll have it out with them (calmly) and probably end the friendship (dependent on what it is and how it pans out after approaching them).
