Yes - really debating the big issues with this topic!! The dog, cat and children were playing on our bed last night and ripped a massive hole in our quilt cover. The one that ripped was a dark charcoal waffle type colour cover. The only problem is that the curtains that dominate our room are really difficult to co-ordinate with Would prefer something not quite as dark as what we had as it gets covered in dog hair the day we put it on!

Yellows and duck egg blues go great with charcoal.

I would just go for something plain white, perhaps with a texture or pattern to it, then layer with a charcoal blanket or quilt at the foot of the bed.

That sounds lovely Credence - but should have said I have a black cat which sheds and sleeps for about 18 hours a day on the bed. I will take a look boatibabe - thank you!

I like the Sheridan one.

I agree a white one would work with some dark throw pillows. We bought this one in ivory and we love it, but it comes in white too.
