Take a deep breath and count to 10......
This year I will have the opportunity to go to any Boxing Day sales that might be on.
I have never been before.
Are they really worth it? Or can you get just as good bargains when they do a clear out before school starts?
If they are worth it, which sales do you go to?

yes, and no. I find if you are looking for specific things, you will generally find a bargain.
eg, homewares handbags etc.

You can get extra good specials, but these are never guaranteed.

Myer, DJ's and your specialty stores are always good.

TBH I find that like the half yearly sales they are bringing out super old merchandise or specially brought in merchandise to sell rather then reducing the price on current items.

Usually I'm getting mother-induced twitches at that time of year, so the last few I have loaded her up with cash and send her off on a manchester hunt.

She is also good for kids gear.

She lives in DJ's at this time of year and always gets a bargain.

I'd rather lick toads, but she loves it and I get some peace.

Win/win.

They were better a few years ago - now I found the sales pre-christmas are jsut as good, but end of season sales are even better, especially for clothes & swimwear.
