His latest appeal has been DENIED. I hope this was his final appeal and he can now allow the boys to rest in peace and their mother to grieve without having to hear about the events again and again and again.

UPDATE: A MAN who killed his three sons by driving them into a dam on Father's Day has lost his appeal against three murder convictions.

Robert Donald William Farquharson did not appear in the Court of Appeal this morning to hear three judges hand down the decision.

I agree, I hope that the boys' poor mother is able to grieve and not have to endure any more publicity.

Wow I misread your thread title as "Robert Farquharson dead". Anyway, I am glad to see there will be no more court time wasted on this case.

There might be more time spent on him. They're considering an appeal to the High Court. mad.gif

I saw his story on Australian Story. They put a fairly convincing case for this being an accident. As much as it must be awful for the mother to relive the tragedy, he has a right to appeal if he feels he has not been treated fairly.

dessiesgirl- Did you ever stop to think that maybe just maybe he is appealing just to control his ex wife? Making her live through that horrible ordeal again and again and again. So far he has had TWO trials and was found guilty both times by a jury of his peers, and a few appeals that haven't done him any good. Each and every time his ex wife has to come in and give evidence again. All the Evidence points to the fact that this wasn't an accident.
