What's on today?

Food for eldest kid for camp
Assignment
Kitchen
Washing

I think there is a lot more but that's all I can think about.

The house needs a lot of work but I'll probably ignore that and:
- Make Christmas ornaments with DD1 (to give to classmates instead of candy canes)
- Maybe put up the Christmas tree

We were supposed to have a mini joint birthday party with cousins but their youngest (only 3m) has chicken pox sad.gif

I'm lying in bed listening to DH clean the house before my parents arrive this afternoon ph34r.gif biggrin.gif

The heat in Adelaide is unsympathetic to heavily pregnant ladies!

Liz, why don't you do ALL the Christmas related stuff AFTER you move. Makes much more sense. I too, have moved house at this time of year and did all the Christmas stuff after we got to the new place. Otherwise you are just double handling when you don't really need to.

Today I need to:

Wash
Sweep back patio after strong winds
Bake

Not much here, anything above and beyond washing and the dishes will be a bonus.

I've been wanting to take the kids to look at Xmas lights but DS keeps falling asleep before its dark! Will try again tonight!

I pick and arrange all my own flowers, Jerry!
Miss-7-and-a-half has been vomiting for Australia since 2am this morning.

My poor washing machine doesn't know what's hit it - she's gone thru 2 sets of sheets, mattress protectors, pillowcases - the lot.

I have started cleaning the kitchen because it's bugging me.

The whole house looks like a tip - but I am going to clean it slowly but surely.

Mostly for today - will be a rest day for the girls - DH has done a bit of tidying our outside and we will get stuck in to cleaning the rest of the house.

Does anyone else find it's so much easier to clean when the kids are in bed ??

Yep that's what I usually do, the stuff I list is just the small stuff that can be done in between playing with kids, day to day keep on top of stuff, most of the cleaning gets done once they are in bed, even if it ends up being late for me.

Hope your dd is feeling better, we had gastro last week, so awful.
