Christmas pudding and custard
Pavlova with cream and fruit topping
Caramel Slice
Home made truffles, white xmas, peanut brittle
Lemon cheesecake

I'd make them all is there are that many people.

Trifle...I LOVE trifle. It's a tradition in my family, my gran made the best trifle with sponge doused in sherry, peaches, jelly, custard and cream!

Pavlova
Tiramisu
Shortbread cookies with strawberries and cream
Fresh fruit salad
Creme caramel
Eton mess
Cheesecake maybe a citrus type?

My own version of cassata. Where you get two liters of icecream let it soften, then add whatever you like, crushed biscuit, grated chocolate, violet crumble, smarties glacé cherries, nuts, bit of alcohol... Not too much otherwise it won't set. Then let it harden again, or place it into a loaf tin turn it out and slice.

You can make a kids one with gummy lollies etc.

I slice some panetonne soak it in a mix of booze of choice and coffee ( think we used amaretto last year) and layer it with ice cream. Can mix the ice cream with mixed fruit for a more 'Christmas pudding' vibe if you like. I did it in a loaf tin, and then just sliced it, and served it drizzled with more liqueur (could do maybe melted chocolate drizzle for the kids) Easy to make more for bigger numbers and you can do it well in advance. As a complete stranger who has read of your troubles, hope you mange to have a lovely Christmas.

As a dedication to my late grandfather, trifle albeit without the sherry so the kidlets can eat some.

Always pudding and custard for me or it doesn't feel like xmas. I do cold rock style icecream bar for the kids - icream mixed with crushed honeycomb, m&m's, oreos etc
Cheesecake.
This year I want to do a few recipes from the Nestle desert book but haven't decided what- something chocolate and or caramel
