It's amazing to me that not one person in the hundreds of comments posted about this prank call has admitted to finding it funny.
I may need to delete my EB account and never come back after this, but I heard it and laughed at the time.
Obviously in hindsight with the aftermath it's not funny, but given that these jokes are a stable on commercial radio SOMEONE must be listening.

I think lots of people laughed. This is the problem, it's become so commonplace to do this sort of thing that everyone just accepts it and doesn't think about the person on the receiving end.

No, not in the slightest. It made me cringe with embarrassment.

I am the type of person who will immediately change stations if they are about to prank someone because they make me feel so uncomfortable for the person being pranked.

If a cat doesn't like you, then what's wrong with you?
I haven't heard it in its entirety as don't listen to the radio. I only saw what they played on the news and didn't find any aspect of it funny. I felt terribly embarrassed for the poor nurse. I didn't seek to listen to it online either as have no interest in hearing it.

I didn't laugh, I don't find it amusing, but I'm not understanding the back lash the dis are copping over it. The hospital need to check their protocol when it comes to the privacy of their patients.

I haven't heard the call but this is me too. I hate prank radio calls.

That's because it wasn't funny, just very silly and juvenile.

I was more worried that that the nurse would loose her job over it at the time.

No. I'm surprised to see a thread with this title given the circumstances. Not in good taste IMO.
