So, it's a shared meal. Families of girls bring savoury and boys bring sweets.

I always struggle with this sort of thing and end up buying something from Brumby's or Baker's Delight or something. Surely I can come up with something.... can you help me with ideas of what you would take? There are five of us going and we have to take enough for ourselves and a bit more...

but for savoury you could go with pinwheel sandwiches, fruit platter, strawberry santas, savoury muffins, mini pizzas, quiches

if you have a mini muffin tray they work out fantastic size for kindy kids... we call that size "popcorn quiche"... mmm so tasty!

Ive tried a few of their dishes and have always recieved compliments from the parents and the kids have loved them.

Last year I made fruit kebabs. The teachers were very thankful as they had heaps of "party" type, processed, sugary stuff. They were a hit.
This year Im making very tiny cupcakes with either Xmas themed fondant shapes or Initials for all the kids.

this is roughly what i use except i use mustard instead of the onion... and bacon instead of ham...

cut the puff pastry the size of the round flat part of the muffin trays, add mixture and bake...

they are just so tasty!
