We have vacated our rental in WA. We handed our keys in and 1 week later the Real estate agent did the vacate inspection.
There are a few things they have mentioned that we have to fix, but are things that were working when we moved out. One is the garage remote, the other is 2 light globes. We are happy to replace the light gloves, but we are unsure about the garage remote. They suggested it might need new batteries. Is this our problem? considering it worked last week when we handed it in.
Also how clean do walls really have to be. They have named quite a few walls that need to be cleaned. We had proffesional cleaners (recommended by the real estate) do our vacate clean, so they would have done marks on the walls. I am going to call them as they come with a guarantee. But what if they say they can't remove them? Who is the judge of normal wear and tear?
Also she said the phone handset was missing. We has this in a cupboard so I am hoping she just has not seen it. But what if it is not there? It was when we moved out.
I appreciate any help
