Hi
My ds will be starting preschool either start of next yr of middle of yr (depends on funding as ds is a SN's child). Now i am all new to all of this ds hasn't been to childcare/daycare before so i have no idea what to pack what not to pack how long to stay on his first day (we will be having a tour before his first day i know that). should i be getting ds into a routine before starting we have a rough routine at home but i'd say preschool has a more planned routines. Anything else i forgot. Any advice would be great just a stressed out mum here. |

As lovely as the more general boards can be you might also want to post this on the special needs board so that you can get some advice from mums who have "been there/done that/survived it all."
Speaking as a mum of a child with ASD and one with no developmental issues, the educational journey can be quite different! Will be back as soon as I have a little time to share some tips that worked for us. I know it's hard not to be stressed -- hopefully, it will be a positive journey for you & your son! |
