My DD's grandparents overseas have very kindly asked what DD would like for Christmas. They were thinking of either a magazine subscription or something like a "book-of-the-month" sort of club. It sounds like a lovely idea, but I have no idea in which direction to point them and they have asked me for suggestions.

Any ideas of a magazine subscription for a five year old girl? Or is there such a thing as a children's book-of-the-month club in Australia? DD is just started to read and sound out words...

Mag shop and i subscribe have magazines subs for children, such as disney, wiggles etc. I would be interested if there was a book of the month club.

If she's interested in nature there's a really nice magazine for young readers called National Geographic Little Kids. There's another called National Geographic Kids for older readers too.

Thanks for that. I've let them know about the National Geographic magazine and a few titles on Mag Shops website that she might enjoy. original.gif
