Might give my local pet shop a plug. They don't sell ANY animals whatsoever and there prices are great.

High four Melton are brilliant and I really hope they are the future of pet shop.

They also have a big notice board up full with local rescues with cats and dogs available.

I saw this on the news last night. Fantastic initiative from the pet store, but will need a lot of others to follow in their lead for it to have much of an impact. I'm sure if they're not willing to sell animals that the next shop down the road is.

But still, a great start! cclap.gif

And if it is a successful free advertising idea then this should encourage other pet shops to re-think their live animal sales.
