Thinking of getting a blow up jumping castle for kids for Xmas. They are 2 and 5. What size is a good size? Are they worth the $ and what's a good price?tia:)

I dont' know much about them, but we had a jumpolene a few years back that was a hit. We kept it inside for about six months and it was used often. Once we moved it outside it wasnt' used as much and soon was ruined by the weather.

If it's something you have to put up and down each use I'd forget it! If it's something you can leave up and you have room, they will have a ball.

Unless you have a spot where you can have it up permanently then no. We had one and it was more trouble than it was worth to put it up and down. It also ended up with a few leaks even though we didn't use it much.

The kids have got far more use out of our trampoline.

I managed to get a brand new one on clearance from Target for $50 . I was in there looking for gifts for my children who are (6years) 2 days apart and we were having friends over so it got alot of use.

I have also been able to take it to friends houses for their kids birthdays/gatherings etc and it only takes 5 mins to set up (about 30 seconds to inflate once layed out etc) and 5 mins to pack away. It is not huge but it isnt too small. It fits around 8 kids on it.

I wouldnt pay $300 like it was before on clearance though!

I would buy one then again I'd love to be able to afford an adult sized one for myself for Christmas

Yes most definitely. We have one, have used it for our kids street christmas party, birthday parties and just for when friends and their kids come to visit. The kids LOVE it. It runs on a generator though so its simple to put up, you just plug it in and it takes about 30 seconds to blow up! Was about $300 but as we always take it down and fold it up after each use it has stayed in perfect condition. I wouldn't bother with anything you need to blow up manually.

I have one seemingly similar to PP above. So easy to put up and pack away, kids love it (5 & 2) and my 5y/o's friends love it too and ask for it everytime they visit.

I got it on sale for $150 last year - they have the trampoline for everyday use, but the jumping castle still gets a good work out on warm days with friends!

We have a happy hop jumping castle. It is the best thing that we have purchased for our boys. So easy to set up and so easy to pack up.
