Stronger than ever.
Mine are small, but nice.

1. I joined the gym. I had absolutely no idea how much this would change my existence!! I feel so fit, so strong, and I have made so many new friends. The instructors are all lovely and the gym christmas party was fabulous.

2. My youngest started school. It is so peaceful at home during the day, I'm able to be myself without constant interruptions and am therefore a much more even tempered parent. School has been great for him too.

3. Loving keeping up with friends and family on facebook. original.gif

4. Moved house, we now have a garden, and trees, and birds, lovely neighbourhood and much quieter than our old place.

Next!!

For me it was achieving the awesome birth I desired. Birthing DD3 Breech VBAC biggrin.gif It took a bit of convincing the OB & Midwives, but I got my way, and I'm still over the moon about it 4.5 months later biggrin.gif

I have two pretty big ones, both completely unexpedted this year

1. Got a job! Not the industry I expected but its a pretty good place to work, pays the same as what I was looking for, but a lot less stressful.

2. Met a man. Was definitely not on my radar at all, and I found him in the most unusual/unexpected place. There have been a few hiccups along the way, but he's pretty special.

I just got back from 10 days in Hong Kong with my 2 daughters. It was an awesome trip, especially seeing my eldest brother marry in a traditional Chinese service.
The flight back was a nightmare, it was an overnighter and my girls were meant to sleep but didn't. They finally fell asleep at 3am HK time, or 5.30am SA time, and I then had to wake them 45 minutes later for landing. The pilot announced that due to severe storms in Melbourne, we would have to make a stopover in Adelaide - our ultimate destination. When they said we would have to remain on the airplance, fly to Melbourne and then back to Adelaide I was nearly in tears - I'd had 10 minutes sleep and had 2 very tired and grumpy children.
Just before landing, they announced the had the go-ahead to let off those whose destination was Adelaide. So, we arrived 4 hours ahead of schedule, on a direct flight.Customs and Immigration opened just for us so no lining up. My husband had been wondering how we would fit in our 4 children and all of our luggage into our car, but QANTAS had them couriered to our house (2 hours out of Adelaide) as they couldn't take them off so they went via Melbourne. Only a minor good thing in the scheme of things, but it felt like such a bonus and a great way to end our trip.

Bought a fantastic house.

Got through some major hurdles with my DH.

Found out my DH wanted to try for a baby (from the time we got together it was not on the cards - was a major compromise for me when we married). We start TTC in January FX!!!!

1. Completed half the revocations of our house - painted the outside, half the inside, polished the floorboards and new carpets in the bedrooms. Only the kitchen to go!

2. Have my beautiful DD. Had a wonderful birth, followed by a wonderful baby. So overjoyed.

3. Got engaged! DP asked me to marry him on our first family holiday - so over the moon!

Been an amazing year, am looking forward to the next!

The start of this year was awful. Recently though, i won $500 on a scratchie, i got $2300 in back payment for FTB, so both of these things have been a huge help with bills and presents at xmas time. Probably the greatest thing, was finding out we are pregnant, and it's at the same time a year ago that our angel baby was conceived wub.gif
