We will be moving to Elwood very shortly (and suddenly) and DS is due to start FYOS next year. There are 2 schools in the suburb Elwood Primary and St Columbus - I am unsure as to which one to go with? Does anybody have any experience with either of these schools? Unfortunatly I dont know anybody in the area to ask sad.gif

Hi. My son has just completed grade 1 at St Columbia's. I cannot speak highly enough about the school. The teaching staff and students are lovely. The school is very pro-active academically as well as providing a very nurturing environment for the children. The children themselves are delightful. We actively consisted Elwood PS but felt it was too large for our sensitive boy. We made the right decision. I am happy to provide more information via PM.

Sorry I can't help with schools, but Elwood is just lovely - one of the last inner city villages wub.gif

I'm a little bit jealous but I hope you love it there.
