Excitement here tonight as my 5 year old has a loose tooth

Just wondering what order your children lost theirs?
This is one of the middle top teeth.

I am a wee bit excited too, wasn't expecting this till school next year (July b'day) but something I really have little idea about.

Hmmm.....strange! My DD lost her two bottom ones first, and every other child I know of lost their bottom ones first too! Five does seem quite young to lose the top teeth. But I suppose every child is unique!

Are you sure it wasn't knocked and that's why it's wobbly? Just seems quite young for the top teeth, and in the wrong order (not bottom first)

But maybe other EB members can help?

My son lost his first tooth today, it was his left bottom middle one.

I think my kids have all lost their bottom middle 2 and then their top middle 2.

DD 5.5 has lost both of her bottom teeth. The teeth either side of those are wobbly now too. Top front are staying in strong.

I didn't lose my first until I was 7!or8 and had the last baby pulled at 20

My 8 year old lost her first tooth at 4 and has just today lost her first pre-molar. She has lost the 4 front top and 4 front bottom so far, skipped the canines and moved onto molars LOL

I did ring the dentist and double check losing a pre-molar at 8 1/2 was ok but they said since she teethed early (had two teeth at 9 weeks old) that she was more likely to lose them early

Hmmm, I thought it should be the bottom teeth first also. Off to the dentist I think (if we can get in!)

Funwith3 I don't believe it has been bumped as I am home with her everyday but I guess you never know. Now I am starting to worry

My girl was 5.5yrs when she lost her bottom 2 teeth, followed shortly by two more bottom teeth (either side of the ones just fallen out) and then lost her top 2 teeth before she turned 6!

She got her bottom 2 teeth just after the 2nd lot of bottoms fell out, but her top teeth are still not there (been around 4 months I reckon!)

Hmm, I had read somewhere that the teeth usually fall out in the order they come in?

2 of my girls lost their bottom front teeth first, but DD2 lost her front top teeth first. I remember at Christmas she had both top front teeth missing "All I want for Christmas ..."

My DD lost her 1st tooth a week after her 5th birthday. It was a bottom one and then lost the other bottom front one a week later.
