My Ct scan shows different size thyroid nodule compared to ultrasound that i did today. I did a ct scan last week and show 2 x 1.6cm thyroid nodule and today on ultrasound shows 3cm and 2cm? Did the nodules grow? or is there a mistake? Ultrasound states- There is a septated cystic nodule in the upper pole of the right thryroid lobe and immediately adjacent and inferior to this there is a complex appearing heterogenous vascular solid nodule 29 x 19x 14mm. It is not certain if the nodules are separate or one. Please correlate with thyroid function test. Ultrasound guided FNA is recommeded. Is this bad? |
