With Christmas fast approaching I am fast running out of ideas for my Dad. He is in a wheelchair most of the time as he had a leg amputated about 4 years ago.
Does anyone know of something funky that could go on a wheelchair and wouldn't get in the way, etc?

Shut up, In measureless content.
Try calling the disability assoc in your state for ideas?

Being Christmas he could bling it up with tinsel etc if he is going out.

An attachable cup/stubby holder?

A new cushion cover?

A hat for summer (or slouchy cap for winter) that hangs on one of the handles? The hat could have some personality added to it (feather, badges, scarf...)

Pocket knife with all the gadgets you could possibly want (eg Swiss army knife) that can hang off the chair?

A pouch type bag that can go on the chair to carry books, magazines, tablet, kindle etc?

A 'book-seat' from Dymocks? Has a loop that can hang off the chair. Suitable for books and other devices.

Mobile phone and/or remote pouch?

Stronger than ever.
If he goes out in it, a tall flag to put on the back so he is easier to see from an 'walking adult' perspective.

A horn! LOL

Maybe a musical horn.

I didn't even think of wheelchair accessories and I have a good friend who is wheelchair/mobility scooter bound most of the time.

The drink holders you can get to attach to prams attach really well to wheelchairs.

You can also get umbrella's that attach to wheelchairs in camping stores.
