The other day I saw a post quoting how long meat could be kept above 5 degrees before it had to be cooked immediately/thrown away etc.
Does anyone know where to get that info. I spent the afternoon in hospital then went to do some much needed groceries. Had a call from DH that his grandfather needed to be picked up from the hospital at 5, finished shopping at 5 got to hospital about 5.15 and its now 6 and he is still not out. I have had the aircon cranking and packed some frozen veg etc around the meat but I doubt it'll be below 5 degrees. I'm guessing by the time I get home it could be two hours from when I purchased the meat. I'm going to have to throw it away aren't I
