or Fembo maybe...
So I'm trying to kick fructose. And trying to make hot chocolate.

Kind of did alright with the bournville cocoa powder and glucose syrup to sweeten, but it tastes powdery. Normally I would make hot chocolate by melting chocolate into milk - that's very smooth. But I can't find a solid chocolate without sugar... does such a thing exist? Or even a liquid? Just something that would be less powdery than the cocoa powder...

You can get chocolate sweetened with stevia. You can also get a hot chocolate mix that is sweetened with stevia that I have often and love original.gif

Chocolate with Maltitol, plenty of brands on the market. Any health food store carries several varieties. DJ also stock a Belgian brand Cavalier, it is a bit expensive but always on sale on Boxing day!

Maltitol is a sugar alcohol, so just converts to sugar in your system anyway. Or that's the theory.

Another place to try might be health food stores and the health food aisles in the supermarket.

Unsweetened chocolate is actually fairly common for baking in the US.

It can also be found as "baking chocolate"

Some USA type food shops may sell it too original.gif

Yes I've been googling and a few places said this - that it was widely available there but not here. Frustrating! But cool, will check health stores.
AND... have just realised I need to do an amazon order for my brother's very specific taste in books... so actually I might chuck a couple of bars in there!
