Mine has been pretty great actually. We all slept in until about 9am - bliss! Then we pottered around eating, playing games, reading, a bit of housework (cleaned out the linen cupboard) talked on the phone to my sister in NZ for a couple of hours, had a nap, got up showered and dressed and went to the shops. Even though there were plenty of people there, we were quick to get a carpark and we found everything we wanted straight away inside. The longest wait in a queue was 5 minutes in Coles.

Came home, the kids are watching a dvd, we'll have dinner shortly and head out to look at some Christmas lights!

So how was your day?

Great day!

For the first time since my almost 11 months old DS was born, I went to the city on my own to have a lunch with a friend! I had two glasses of wine biggrin.gif

So I spent 7 hours away from DS, and 10 without breastfeeding him - was a first! I am happy knowing we are all going to live when I go back to work in 3 weeks.

We went to visit my Nana who is in hospital at the moment.
She will back home on Monday and the problem is not too serious.

She is 94 and still lives alone!!!
Fabulous, her mind is sharp as a tack. Hope I am that good at that age.

Busy! Didn't get home until nearly 4am, slept until 8, up and out shopping until the afternoon. Forgot something in town. Back into town. Got something unrelated. Went home. OH BUGGER. Back into town.

Uuurgh.

Have to get up early tomorrow to do the groceries before Coles explodes with a million people picking up last minute turkeys and custard and whatnot.

Pretty good. Was out & up at the shops as they opened so the crowds weren't too bad. Made the desert for Cristmas lunch, wrapped some pressies, visited my parents & then had dinner with the inlaws.

Just got home & am ready to chill.
