Hi,
I downloaded a tv show on iTunes & can now watch it on our computer after I unstalled & reinstalled Quicktime. The problem is I can't get it up on our daughter's laptop as hers is easier to carry around. It just says not authorised even though in the account section it says all computers are authorised.I have taken out an SC folder & unchecked a box that says I can see things in the Computer then Organise section but still coming up with nothing. Not sure if we have done some kind of security action on it (can't remember ) so that they coould not access Youtube. We are happy about that but just wanted to watch this temporarily then put the security action back on.This is the first time I have downloaded a show (Homelands) as I missed it so ity is not something we do all of the time. Any suggestions? TIA Jo |

Are you using the same iTunes account on all the devices you're trying to access it from? Your daughter doesn't have a separate iTunes account?

The same account has to be used across the devices if you want to share content. You need to sign out of iTunes on your phone and re-sign in under the account that purchased the item. On your daughter's laptop, the same thing applies. It's whichever account purchased the item that needs to be signed into to use those apps/music/videos etc.
I've got one iTunes account, and I sync several different devices, just ticking and unticking the different options on each device. My children use my iPod, so I've loaded that up with kids apps. But I've put a few of them on my iPad too. |
