A plastic stocking full of gross lollies that DH and I wouldn't even eat, nevermind 3 yo DS.

A couple of My Little Pony sets - our DS will be arriving any day now so I thought I could give them to DD then so she feels extra special too.

I 'disappeared' a few things for DD1 before they even made it into the stocking!! And I'm so glad I did, she had plenty to be excited about yesterday. My grandmother gave her a bag full of chocolate and other goodies and that has been relocated to my stash in the kitchen

I confiscated ridiculous amounts (2 plastic grocery bags! ) of chocolates & sweets from XFIL. XH brought the boys home late Christmas Eve (thankfully asleep so I could hide the sweets with no questions/tantrums)

Year before last, I confiscated (after one lengthy set-up & a day of play) a scaletrix set that took up 3/4 of our only living area. Then XH bought them a similar one the year after - why do people who know all too well the small size of my house, blindly give gifts that are simply too big/unsuitable... no toys confiscated this year.
