I bought myself half a kilo of cooked prawns, mainly for myself as my DH is allergic to crustaceans and I didn't get to eat them yesterday and I don't feel like anything today - too much Christmas food

Not long. 2-4 weeks max I think. Most freezers have a little guide on the inside of the door listing freezing time of various items.

Id leave them up to 3 months if they lasted that long! As long as they haven't been defrosted they will be fine.
