You are too young for menopause although Premature Ovarian failure can occur to any women but what I really think you may have is a hormonal imbalance - poly cystic ovarian syndrome.
Not dangerous and treatable.
You might need to have some blood tests and an ultrasound to determine ifyou have it.
Your symptoms of hairiness and irregular bleeding(sometimes) light indicate this.
Oh and your thyroid - yes, an over active thyroid can give you lighter periods.
doesnt sound serious to me.
Have you recently had a baby?
best of luck and Happy New year!
Your ultrasound will show any polyps, fibroids.(if you do have them) I doubt that though!
With polyps - you never stop bleeding!! (have suffered this)
You might find that you have ruptured a heamorroid(sp?) hence the bleeding and it was nearer to your vagina.....
I have had this happen to me!!!!
If you were going through early menopause you would be suffering from
nightsweats, hot flushes, mood changes, vaginal dryness....increase in anxiety...I dont think you are menopausal
