I'm working through my options as you can see from my mutiple posts! Sorry!

Anyone got a Cargo Marathon and able to tell me how easy it is to switch between the 2 modes? I have just discovered DD (a tall 5yrs) should be in a lap-sash belt and not the 5 point harness (by both weight (she is now 22kg) and height (shoulders now reach 2nd top slots)).

Thinking about the combinatiosn of children I am most likely to carry (mine and school friends), how easy is it to switch the Cargo from lap-sash mode back to 5 point harness, to accomodate a younger child, and then switch back to lap-sash to accomodate my own child - if I have to do this frequently, is it going to do my head in?

Unfortunately with Aussie seats yes it is a complete pain to un install and reinstall of seats. It is not something I would be looking to do on a regular basis with any Aussie seat.

I would suggest you try your child out for height markers in the New SnS Maxi Rider and contact Britax about their 5ot harness testing or this new seat. I believe it is tested with a z32kg test dummy for the 5 pt harness, so as long as your child is below the turn to booster lines you could use the 5pt harness. The as it adjusts from the front it will be easier to adjust between 3yo and 5yo.

I don't find it that hard at all. I leave the shoulder hook in place for booster mode and have the inbuilt harness set for the child in harness mode.

I just unwrap the seatbelt and put it over the child instead of through the seat. I just tuck the inbuilt straps back a bit so they're not in the way.

The top tether stays in place all the time.

I've done this once with a Marathon but have done it lots with my hipod senator.
