Hi I have finished my first quilt
a MASSIVE Swoon, it was supposed to be for my daughter but ended up making it for my bed (sort of super king size)
Sooooo where can I get such a monster quilted (I am guessing it has to be done on some super special long arm machine)
Any advice would be great

Many thanks

I can HiGHLY recommend Belinda Betts from eucalypt ridge quilting. She's in Orange but I've sent her quilts from Melbourne and have never had a problem. She can provide the batting too which cuts the postage costs and the quilting has always been gorgeous. Her turn around has been pretty quick and her communication great too. Please PM me if you want any more details original.gif

Where are you?

Well done by the way!

It will cost you upwards of $200 but long arm quitling really finishes the quilts off and makes them SO easy to wash and use.

I know someone fantastic in Canberra if that helps. She's done two huge quilts for us now (my lucky, lucky daughters have a very talented Grandma wub.gif)

I will be still and know you are God.
I have had 2 quilts done by an EB member. She has a quilting website called Sampaguita Quilts. Cannot say enough about the beautiful job she did on both of them!

Thanks Everyone
I am closest to canberra these days
I will PM you Puggle for the info,
It is a bit of a bug this quilting isn't it? I will do another for DD and have been searching around for a boyish quilt pattern for the two boys
I saw this one (the second quilt down, yellow and blue one)
http://www.sewtogether.com.au/1/post/2012/...ne-creates.html
And thought that could make a rather handsome boys quilt......blues and greens maybe
And because I felt so bad I had stolen DDs Swoon, I knocked up this.
http://www.thetraintocrazy.com/2012/04/gat...r-tutorial.html which was super easy and looks great (DD has a wrought iron bed similar to pick) now I am in full ruffle mode and and want to take a crack at this...
http://www.modabakeshop.com/2012/11/the-crinkle-quilt.html
but I think maybe it is the fabric that makes it....

I got mine done at a place in Bella Vista in Sydney. It looks great and I highly recommend her if anyone needs anything done. She has a machine on tracks that takes up her entire loungeroom.
