 Temporary pool... what depth do you need a fence? |

I live in Sydney, and am looking at getting one of those 'easy set' pools with the blow up rim.
So, as the title says, what is the depth at which i need a fence? and are those covers any good for keeping leaves out? (I understand they are no good for protecting kids from drowning, i just have a few gum trees in my yard) |

If it can be filled to more than 30cm deep.

Every Council slightly differs and state, you can usually find your Council or state rules online, as a general rule it is 30 cms.
However a child can drown in any depth so if I was leaving water in it for any long period of time and had young kids I would be considering fencing of some type if it cannot be emptied regularly. Our neighbour has one of those covers and it seems to keep stuff out of it quite well. |
