> Schoolkids Bonus, 16 year old still at school question

My son is now 16 and in year 11 for 2013 and wondering what Happens with the Schoolkids payment in Jan. I checked online and have already told centrelink and it shows my other 2 Primary childrens details ect. but does not show any info for my 16 year old.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that it finishes at 15 years and 11 months (which isn't fair if your child is still in school)

As long as he is on your Family tax benifit you will get it with the payment the same time as the other 2 I have a child in grade 12 this year and thats what they told me

I have a boy who has just turned 16 and i rang centrelink this morning to find out about the shcoolkids bonus and they said he will still get it just that it wont show up now on the internet as he has turned 16.

Thank you Cat79 , it will be a great help this year as his school fee's and book hire has gone up allot from last year !
