I am currently playing a puzzle game called The Room. It's very good, and I'm not usually interested in games.

Love the Donna Hay magazine app, I've downloaded the two free ones and they are beautiful.

Games- Husband and I play Tiny Tower, he plays the Sims. I got Peggle when it was on sale for 99c, and we both play Words With Friends.

I use my iPad for the Coles magazine, too, as well as the Woolworths shopping app - both feature their catalogues and you can check the specials before you go shopping, or do online shopping right from the app in one of them, I think.

YouTube is no longer embedded in the iOS so you have to download that separately, but one of the apps I use the most is TED Talks - I love hearing/watching people talk about things they are passionate about and there's always something informative in there.

One of my favourite iPad games is Where's My Water? It's good for kids and adults. You have to make a path so an alligator can have a bath. It sounds silly but it's really fun!

Where's my water and cut the rope for both adults and kids.

Apps gone free is a great app which daily has around 5 apps which are free for the day.

Also get 12 days of Apple so you can download the two toy story short films ( today only)

Are there any great books you can also download for free?

All the EA apps are .99 at the moment for Christmas/New Year. We just got monopoly, game of life, scrabble and a few others.
