I would love a cafe style muffin recipe. I've made tonnes of muffin recipes in the hope they would turn out like cafe style, but they never seem to taste or look like them! They're nice to eat, but not cafe style. Does anyone have a tried and tested recipe that they would like to share?
I love muffins and would love a recipe that I can trust.
Thanks so much!

The Mars Bar Muffins on www.bestrecipes.com.au are very popular at my place. I make them as the contributor suggests (8 Texas sizedmuffins and with Nestle Caramel Top 'n Fill drizzled over them, and made with Woollies Homebrand cocoa.) Easy and quite decadent.

I have a food blog.
To make a cafe style muffin you need to use the cake mix that they use. I used to be able to get one made by a company called Bakels.

My cake supply shop sells various mixes. You might have to hunt around for it.

Personally though, I don't think you can beat a home made muffin.

I made cafe style muffins by using the balloon whisk when making the mix in my mixer. It "whipped" the mix up and made it really light and fluffy.
