I DID IT!!! I CUT IT!!! And I'm loving it being short but I now want to go a bt shorter, my hairdresser wanted to cut it in like an inverted bob but I was too scared and now I wish she did sad.gif Is it too soon to go back and ask her to cut it in???? It's still hot on my neck to wear it out but I don't want her to think I'm rude ???? I've read everyone's comments and you have all suggested great things for curly hair. Will come back and do a reply in a sec.

Here's the link to my new do.

I have had my hair long since 2008. It's thick and curly and afro but I straighten daily with my GHD. I'm getting a bit tired of the straightening and how long it takes but I'm worried I'll regret cutting shorter. I always had short bob style hair until 2008 so this is the longest time I have had long hair.
But I also feel ready for a change too.

So wdyt? Here is a pic of it short in 2005 [I look a lot different now lol]

And here with long hair

This is the style I'm thinking of

Have you thought about having a keratin straightening treatment?
I am no expert but have heard good (and the odd bad) thing about them.

It means you can wear your hair as it is without having to straighten it all the time but you do have to have it done every few months and it aint cheap!

I think you would really suit a choppy bob.

I agree. I like your hair shorter but maybe cut just above your shoulders?

I think both are lovely.

Someone once posted about a permanent treatment to straighten hair, perhaps try that?
