Bouncy chairs do not always equal contained baby Setting the table with DS2 safely contained in bouncy chair, go into kitchen and get distracted. Cue MIL walking in and saying "Have you seen your son?" I walk out of the kitchen to see DS2 giggling his head off, flat on his back on the floor with the bouncer on top of him. Put him back in the bouncer thinking one of his older siblings had flipped it only to watch him dig his feet in and bounce it until it flipped again! Needless to say, that bouncer has since moved onto a household with a less exuberant baby and DS2 is restricted to the playmat.
