I woke up in the early hours of the morning with chills and left flank pain. 10 hours in the ER and I have another kidney infection.

Just over 2 years ago I had a serious one...went septic, fevers of 43+ etc and a week in hospital. I called the 13health as soon as this came on last night and they sent me to the ER. Only thing is this time around they think it has gotten to my kidney from bacteria in the blood as my urine test was clear and I haven't had a uti in several months.

Anyway was just wondering if anyone else has had the multiple times? I did mean to ask the Dr on discharge but forgot. Does having one mean you are more susceptible to more?
