You could try the Beverly Margaret School of Dance.

Thanks, that's the one I've been looking at. Do you have a child there?

No I don't but my daughter has competed against them in a couple of competitions. Our dance school owner is very friendly with them and I can only say good things about them.

Atomac I'd be interested to know where your DD goes too. Our dancing school has just decided to stop taking children under school age, so DD can't go back there, even though she's already done 2 terms of lessons.

Wow! I'd be p*ssed! Where's that? DDs current school and every other I've looked at take kids from about 3yo!

My DD goes to Generation Dance for jazz, tap, acro, hip hop and musical theatre and to Terri Charlesworth Ballet Centre for ballet.

I can see their position - DD's class was under-enrolled and most weeks had more children doing trials than actually attending regularly, so it appeared that in the time slot we were using, DD was the only one who attended every week for the 6 months. Age-wise, DD only missed out on being at kindy this year by 2 weeks! I spoke to them today to ask about a recommendation of an alternative dancing school and after discussing it with her teacher, they called me back to say they will keep DD.
