The bag lady
I haven't been on EB for a loooong time but right now i am at the end of my tether. DS is 6yo just finished prep year at school and is behaving really badly. We have numerous tantrums that go from 0 to 100 in seconds! I put him in his room for time out he kicks the wall and destroys the room (today he has dinted the wall) he fights with his older siblings esp. his 9yo sister. He was involved in a couple of incidences at school where i got a note home, i just don't know what to do. Should i get him to see as psychologist, he has serious anger issues?

Sorry to hear you're going through this.

I think that if you feel he has serious anger issues then definitely take him to see a psychologist.

I would also recommend reading the book 'the optimistic child' by martin seligman. It will give you a lot of strategies to help create positive behavior and help your son to understand emotions.

All the best.
