Just wondering if anyone has been able to get waterbottles and snacks (maybe a sandwich or 4) into Dreamworld & Whitewater World? It says on the website that no food or drinks may be brought in, do they check your bags? I never travel anywhere without at least waterbottles for my kids...

We took sandwiches into Sea World last week, and water - they didn't check. I didn't know you couldn't take them into those places. Not sure about Dreamworld, sorry. DH insisted on the sandwiches as he remembered how ridiculously expensive the food was there last time. Good luck and have fun!

Most of the time they don't seem to bother to check. We've been checked once, said two people were coeliac and it was not a problem.

Took a bag full of drinks and sangas...no one asked or checked.

Wow, I didn't even know you weren't allowed to take food or drink in! Last time I went we took rolls and drink bottles in our backpack, no one even checked. Maybe just stuff them at the bottom of your backpack/bag just in case someone checks

Yep, this was in the September school holidays. No dramas at all. The food on offer in the parks is really foul.

We go to the other parks - Seaworld and Movieworld regularly, and nearly always bring food for the kids.

I don't think they mind so much if you've got younger children. We just keep all the food under the pram, or in a backpack.

I'm a sucker for a greasy theme park burger sometimes though too.
