DS is 3 months and a pretty good sleeper. But he has just started a new habit.

He usually wakes for a feed around 4am and previously he would go straight back to sleep. Recently however, he is wide awake and goes through his normal wake cycle and is awake for about another 45 minutes to an hour. He isn't distressed, and goes to sleep with just the dummy for settling once he is tired. He will then sleep for a maximum of 2 hours

I have tried keeping him wrapped for his feed, which did work once, but not again. I suppose I could try feeding him before he wakes properly, but he is comp fed and by the time I get the bottles organised he is awake.

Any tips would be gratefully received.

DS is exactly the same. Regardless of what time his last feed was he wakes between 5 - 5.30am without fail. I have tried everything and so far the only thing that has worked for us is to bring him into bed with us. He usually goes back to sleep after 10 minutes. If DH is home I put him back in his bassinette (though he only sleeps for maybe another hour) but if DH is at work he just stays in bed with me. The last couple of mornings he has slept for another 4 hours.

Not ideal but it gets me at least another hour of sleep.
