I am considering getting my capsule that DH and i fitted in the car yesterday checked out.

We are pretty sure its fitted right but its not on a very good angle.

Does anyone know if the safety first capsule, also our one is actually the rebranded aldi one original.gif does it have a bad recline?

Cheers.

If you live in Brisbane kidsafe can do a check for $10
They are located behind the RBWH in herston they also visit the major hospitals each month.

Otherwise I believe your state ambulance service also offers the same service for a small fee.

I had trouble in my vx with getting my daughters car seat to sit right rear facing, I end up rolling up a large bath towel as instructed in my booklet that cam with car seat. It goes between the seat and car seat. It sits fine now.

The capsule won't have a bad recline, the issue will be with the angle of your seat. Some restraints fit better in some cars than others. If in doubt, get it professionally checked. They can use a towel or foam to correct the angle.

We had our safety 1st capsule fitted for us and they put two rolled towels under the base and one between the rebound bar and the seat. It's worth having it checked, just for peace of mind original.gif

This was us too. When the recline was adjusted (with towels) the rebound bar moved away from back seat so fitter put a foam wedge inbetween bar and cars seat. Apparently that is ok.
