I ordered DD a furby from Amazon as her one I got for xmas didn't work, and it seemed every shop in Perth was sold out.

according to the tracker, it's been sitting in Ohio since the 3rd of January - 6 days!

Please tell me that these trackers somehow aren't accurate? unsure.gif

She's been waiting since xmas and has been waiting by the window for the postie everyday!

Sometimes they don't get updated until it reaches the next destination point, so it could be in transit but the tracking may not reflect that..

I was checking a shipment of hand crafted furniture we had sent from the gallery where I used to work to NY City. It was sitting at the docks apparently.

2 hours later I got a phonecall from the buyer who was excitedly swooning, telling me how the deliverymen had struggled up the stairs and how great it looked in her apartment!

Auspost tracking is not accurate.

I purchased a watch for DD that can not be purchased in store here. It was supposedly sent back to the original mail sorting office in Melbourne from Sydney instead of being sent on to Newcastle. I panicked. It was never sent back to Melbourne, contrary to the records on the Auspost website. It arrived here on the 24th, unfortunately by that stage we had left for our holiday. So DD had a late Christmas present that she loves biggrin.gif

My Strawberry Net package was apparently awaiting clearance at customs when it turned up at my front door.

No, I bought some stuff from Pumpkin Patch online, so sent from NZ. The tracking seemed to be great when it was in NZ I knew exactly were it was from place to place until the minute it arrived in Sydney, then it seemed to sit there for days, until it turned up on my doorstep, the tracking still said it was sitting at the depot in Sydney (we are in Victoria on the outskirts of Melbourne).
