My partner LOVES Singapore Noodles so I want to make them for him however I've never tried any that I've liked (home made or purchased)
Does anyone have a good, authentic recipe? Much Appreciated |

The curried vermicelli type ones with egg in? There's no such thing in Singapore from what I know (I lived there and never came across it).

Chelara - That's probably it. He generally orders the food (i'm short sighted and don't like to read in public) and he just refers to them as Singapore Nooles. It's Vermicelli but I'm not sure what else is in there.

There's no authentic Singapore noodles, they're more a western thing.
Can't help with recipes, I'm with you I don't like it all that much (only 1 or 2 places I'll eat it from). |

Not a huge fan either but I'd start with some rice vermicelli, soak or prepare to directions on pack. Veges, onion, bean sprouts, carrot that sort of thing, egg, some curry powder, kneecap manis etc
Auto correct lol ketchup manis! This post has been edited by Chelara: 10/01/2013, 04:36 PM |
