Hi there,

Dh got a Iphone 4 recently. I started to set up process and somewhere along the line I mananged to ask for all my contacts to be transferred and they landed on his phone. He didn't want them, and I couldn't work out how to remove them so I reset the phone. Since then it seems to think his phone is my phone, that is "S phone" or sometimes recognises it a 'iphone' , which I think is the name I inadvertently gave the phone on 2nd set up.

The phone only has a handful of the apps that I have purchased and I can't seem to get the others to transfer, as whn it syncs it thinks it has completed the task, yet no change has occurred.

He has nothing on his phone he needs, so can be reset entirely, but can't even work out how to do that. It seems like Itunes looks different than before.

I am a complete novice on itunes and feel like I'm beating my head against a brick wall. Can anyone hold my hand through this process? I have looked at apple help, but can't get further.

TIA

When you connect the ph to the computer and iTunes, scroll the page down and you should see a restore button.
You need to first click on the 'iPhone' which brings up a page that has tabs for apps, pics etc. just scroll down that first page.

Then when choosing to restore make sure you choose a new iPhone as it seems to be confused and instead of recognizing 2 different iPhones is only seeing one.
We have 2 iPhones but also 2 comp so we don't get this problem.

Google is very helpful, although can be confusing. Keep reading apple support and eventually you will understand it.

Good luck
